Grupo AGA was founded in 1975 by Ángel García Avilés providing printing and binding services. In 1985 he introduced the offset printing process. Due to market demands Anpial was set up in 1995 to offer design and prepress services. In 2009 after the founders death, the company was left in the hands of his wife, Pilar Barbero Manzano and his son, Álvaro García Barbero. In 2009 a new company, M´Pack, was formed for production of POS materials and packaging. In 2011 Grupo AGA created its own imprint, AGA Ediciones, with headquarters in Madrid.
